Correction: Arthur Treacher's, NOT Long John Silver's.

The Bookbinder family owned this restaurant for many years. In the 1970s, it was sold to become a franchise of Hum Dinger restaurants (an old deli on 16th and Washington Avenue was another Hum Dinger location). It later became a Long John Silver's seafood restaurant franchise before eventually being torn down.
And I thank you, GLL, for the tip on the movie and where it was on the net. I'm glad you like the site and hopefully it will grow a lot larger in the future as more and more photos come in.

Don...I'm the one who tipped you to the episode. I uploaded a clip of it to YouTube couple years ago, where Larry King plays the DJ who got killed in the opening scene. Great shot here of Rocky Graziano, Lee Bowman's sidekick on the show and former boxing champ in his own right. Hey, even if the search for pix of a bungalow on Biscayne Blvd. was a bust, you still have the most awesome So. Florida site around!
