I knew her as Aunt Maude. I lived in the apartment with my parent (Joseph and Marjorie Wagner) above the garage at 10400 Old Cutler Rd. and remember that tree very well. My father said he would climb that tree to germinate the tree's flowers with pollen on a artist's paint brush. The tree is still there but I haven't seen any sausage pods in years.
