1907 - new ball grounds on Biscayne Bay in downtown Miami before Bayfront Park was built from filling in the bay

Miami, Florida

Judging from the map at http://www.pbase.com/donboyd/image/77197923, this park was located between 12th Street at the top of the park and 14th Streets at the bottom (now Flagler and SE 2nd Streets) east of Avenue B (now SE 2nd Avenue?). Elser Pier would be off to the right in the middle right side of the photo at the foot of 12th Street.

This would be on the banks of the Miami River where the Dupont Plaza was located in the 60s.
