This is a HSC or High Speed Crop image seqment, a 100% or actual pixels sized, cropped section of a shot made at ISO 800. Shot at 150mm with the 70-200VR. I was using 1/1000 second at f/2.8 simply because I thought that these smaller, central-area captures would need to be enlarged corespondingly more than if I'd used the camera's larger or 1.5x capture area. IOW, I was worried that,using the HSC mode, that I'd need higher-than-expected shutter speeds compared to what I am used to.
