DSCF6101_bokeh.JPG

Getting a good steady vertical with the S2 is not as easy as it is with a camera that's heavier, and which has a vertical shutter release. To me,it's as simple as that. Period. To me, the ability to shoot prior to the sun actually being up,with a steady S2 camera at 1/45 second is very liberating. Being able to pull f/8 DOF to get the background "recognizable" at 153mm effective focal length is where VR comes into play. Every shot is this steady, and 1/45 is no sweat for the new VR lens, or the 80-400 VR either.
