"GETTING THERE" ...... slowly.

Lost Creek, PA

I never thought that I would be shooting an insect for the challenge .... however,

This critter was crawling across the siding this morning looking for it's next meal.

It will take some time to make it's destination.

Looks like a perfect shot to me. He's a funny looking little fella. Hope he gets to where he is going soon!

It will be very hungry once it gets there!

Hairy little critter!

I saw loads of these critters when I was in PA last week. You did a good job capturing him. Although they move slowly, they do nose around a lot and it's not always easy to photograph them. V

Great macro. How does he see where he's going?

what a nice idea, never saw this insect before

It's that fur coat it's dragging around, slowing it down :-)
What a great find.

I thought it was a pipe cleaner at first! Cute little guy, will get there slowly then after a bit of metamorphosis be able to get there with speed. Nice entry!

It's all about using what God gave us...his strength is in his ability to make his predators believe those barbs may be dangerous...yours is to see with your camera what you may otherwise miss.
Super shot, love the DOF. GMV

LOL, I thought you'd taken a photo of your kitchen brush!! This guy looks a tad mean with those black spikey bits...I take it he's a bit harmful??
