These new bus shelters were appearing on the Island in 2010.
This one, at Es Calo, is very welcome - replacing a wait standing on the narrow verge at a very busy corner
In early 2011, I saw that this bus stop had gone - part of the Es Calo pedestrianisation I suppose.
The shelter moved to the opposite side of the islands 'backbone' main road, with the stop itself now fixed to the same post as pedestrian crossing and speed restriction warning signs,
so that stopped buses now obscure both the speed restriction sign and the pedestrian crossing.
Ho Hum, so much for progress! http://www.pbase.com/image/135760112
