I've been in the tube many times and am impressed by your vision and sensitivity. The "sharpness flamers" are following the false god of sharpness in preference to the true deity of style. Be encouraged and keep shooting. Thank you.. Bob

Gee--I thought I did. If out of focus and poor compostition are the target---this is the spot. It may well be that having subjects blurred and and things poorly composed is an artistic priority. If so---you have it just right.

Great shots. Yeah I am having the same problem, too. I want to take photos of people in their daily life routines, but yet I don't know whether to ask them or not. When asked it's not natural anymore, but if not asked, it could become a privacy problem.

I was just curious,(I'm a novice in photography, and wondering about ethical laws..) when taking photos of people in public, how aware are they that you are doing so? How do you approach them? etc...
