Yeuch. Not my cup of tea by any stretch of the imagination. But a fantastic photo, all the same. I'm with Angela on asking whether this is alive or not?

This could have worked for your April Fool's shot, "Found this at the foot of the bed this morning. After a quick trip to the hospital, I'm going to be fine." The young woman, however, was lovely. And this is cool.

Bruce, that's a good idea! I didn't think of it at the time!

Oh, by the way folks, it was indeed a dead bug...LOL I'm not that brave, stupid at times yes...

Creepy... But I must admit that it´s a welltaken photo. Great lighting on the tail....

Yup, too creepy for words.
Nice lighting though.

How much opportunity do have to "play" with your model? It would be cool if there was something in its line of sight. Introduce some tension through an implied threat.

GAAAAH!!!!!! I HOPE this thing isn't ALIVE? Because then I'd have to ask you what in the hell you were doing so close to a scorpion! ;) Nice shot, great low key.

Ahhh my birth sign too...yes sinister little things. Stung by one in Texas long time ago.
Regardless well done shot. Captured light, tones against the black. Not easy.

Some one already said it, but that is also my birth sign. I assume it was stuffed and mounted, not live. I used to find them in my backyard at my previous home. Sinister.
