From the thumbnail I imagine you may have thought this was a heavily “photoshopped” image. It’s not though, as I walked around the Museum of Art looking for something to shoot I noticed this lovely young lady admiring the art. She was gazing at a particular piece that is made up of shiny metal rods to look like a dandelion seed pod. As I passed by I thought how cool she looked through the shining rods. I couldn’t bring myself to lift my lens and shoot though as I felt too self conscious. I walked on by looking for more subjects, kicking myself for the missed photo-op. As fortune would have it, we passed again by the same piece. This time I got up the courage to ask her to pose. She did! I do hope she didn’t think I was some strange old coot trying to pick her up….
