I still don't know what negative space is but to me the water almost is the subject leaving no negative room. Like how you caught a few breaks in the water. -COAmature

OK. I'm gonna argue that the color and shapes of the water contrast very effectively with the bouy, making it stand out and therefore enhancing it. Anyway I like it. -tv

I am a bit undecided, as I think your eye is drawn off the buoy to explore the water as I feel it may be a bit too distracting. If it was more uniform it would work better! I'll have to wait for a calmer day! :)

Water can be "negative space" too so I would think it is on-topic Mo. Good color contrast and composition. CJ
