Hello Raymond, most of these bird photographs were taken at and around the BLESS observation platform where the Sturgeon River exits the lake, and the forest and woods between the platform amd where you were today. You need to drive into St Albert and park at the small grassy parking lot near the soccer grounds on Riel Drive, from there you can walk out to the woods and out to the platform passing by some excellent viewpoints in the wetlands for bird photography. (Either hop over the new road or take the long way around on the paved trail). It is all quite clear on Google Earth. Hope this helps and good luck, Dave.

Hello Dave, nice photos. I was at the southern part of the Big Lake today (at the north end of 231 Street). There weren't enough birds/fowls. What are some of the best spots at Big Lake to shoot a variety of birds/fowls?
