PS, maybe you could periodically change the gallery header image, to remind us of updates...

... and the winding aspect of the road is folklore -- the yellow brick road. This image is just impossibly beautiful.

I second Marek's view of this shot, Sean. The figure on the sidewalk in the dark glowing night is an old theme, but you have brought new insights to it here by choosing a partially illuminated serpentine pathway that represents all the twists and turns life may have in store for us. If ever there was a dreamlike image, this is it. The glowing lights are like eyes in the night, both looking at us, yet allowing us to see. The degree of abstraction is remarkable -- the man is there but not there, increasing its dreamlike nature. The black edges close us in, the reflective sidewalk pulls us through, and the illusion of depth, of infinity, is quite powerful. Thank you for making this one and sharing it with us, Sean.

This really is a tremendous all-time classic -- a standalone from your gallery.
