Main Hall

Tai Fu Tai Mansion, Hong Kong view map

Built in 1865 by the Man’s ancestor,
this house is named “Tai Fu Tai Mansion”,
which means “the residence of an important person”.

Man clan has been living in Hong Kong since the Song Dynasty (AD960-1279).
It is believed that the clan has blood relation with Man Tin-cheung,
a scholar-general in the last years of the Southern Song Dynasty.

The right lens for the job...with a regular lens this would be challenging! Terrific.

I am surprise by the rigour of the structure and the cleanness of the scenery. The tones near bW also give this sensation. In Pingyao in the house of the banker it was similar.
Thanks for the trip and details
