In a few days time, they will start building a large 'glass' canopy at this spot, so that people leaving the railway station won't get quite so wet when heading for the town centre.
The structure on the left is the Centrium, newly built appartments for those high flyers who can just fall out of bed and onto a train to London - well, almost!!
The tower on the right is part of the railway station, dating from around 1930.
Of course, I have been thinking what the photo opportunities will be like under the canopy - I'm hoping the diffused light will be yummy.
