February 4 2005:
Kai Jansen

Today I went into town to see my former work colleagues – I am pleased to say that I’m no longer part of that treadmill, having been paid off on 31 January. I can now learn to relax, and when my anxiety problems recede, I’ll try and gain some kind of employment, which initially may be of a voluntary nature.

It was cool seeing my people today; I’ve worked with most of them for about 20 years and so it’s been hard to adjust without them in my daily life.

I was also pleased to bump into this musician today. His name is Kai Jansen and I’ve had the pleasure of listening to him play on the streets of Guildford too. His repertoire include numbers by Eric Clapton, Sting, Cat Stevens and Joni Mitchell as well as original compositions. I would certainly recommend him, especially if you are organising a function of some kind ~ just look here to find out more http://www.kaijansen.co.uk/

Here is Kai caught a little off guard. I''ve created a mini-gallery of Kai - click on the thumb (or the the little red X) and it will take you to a sample picture from that gallery.

So you took the big step Ray. I hope you will have more peace now and sleep better. Catch a dawn....

Nice shot Ray. I envy you having left work. This year we had an early release schem and I decided that it wasn't the right time for me..... I often wonder if I made the right choice. next time!
