November 5 2004:
My Daily Baggage

OK, my turn. I turned out the contents of my wallet and jeans and this is what there was. Contents listed from the outside at 12 o’clock position going clockwise, and then towards the centre…

Nectar Loyalty Card
Unknown admission ticket
Unidentified chitties
Receipt from Dentist
Repeat Medical Prescription form
Bank Debit Card
Nationwide Debit Card
Library Card
Coffee House Loyalty Card
Morrisons Supermarket Loyalty Card
Train ticket from Hamburg
My now empty wallet
Driving Licence (note spelling!)
Key used before my locks were changed ;-)
A hearing aid battery for my mum (she no longer wears an aid)
Tablet in foil wrapper
Kodachrome tickets
Postage Stamps
ID card for work
House keys
National Health Service card to get free medicines
Travelcard (valid from out of town to anywhere within London)
Card for Surrey History Centre (County Archives)
Car Keys
Eurotunnel concession card

btw, there's no credit card here as the company have just put a stop on it because some guy used it fraudently in Houston, Tx. Now, who do we all know who hails from Texas and who has just spent millions?
I must admit, I forgot to show my Kleenex which was in my jeans, but it was clean and unused – honest, guv!

Cropped and Resized
Adjusted in Levels
Framed using # FFFFFF

On 5 November last year; ‘Underneath’

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel
1/40s f/5.0 at 40.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original

How many pockets does your jeans have? I'm surprised you can walk with all this stuffed into the pockets of your trousers!
Good idea for a SP though, I might have to give it a try sometime and reveal the mysterious contents of my handb...err, rucksack. (Isn't that what all men want to know - what women keep in their handbags?)
I think we laughed at your driver's licence picture in Berlin already. But just for old times' sake: HA-HA! ^_^

Is that really you in the driving licence photo ? :-)
Mark Rutter05-Nov-2005 21:26
Not sure I'd be ready for such a revealing self-portrait!

Fascinating, Ray. I not only get to find out what's in men's wallets, but in foreign men's wallets!! I love pbase :-)
jypsee06-Nov-2004 00:19
You're a loyal guy, Ray.
jude05-Nov-2004 21:51
HOLY .. damn, Ray.. that's a nice array of posessions.
Guest 05-Nov-2004 19:47
What's a Library Card ?
Cheryl Hawkins05-Nov-2004 19:00
That's not a lot of stuff; not if you know how to pack it all back in the wallet! :^)
Carol E Sandgren05-Nov-2004 17:44
Well at least there's some MONEY in there with all the other stuff. You wear glasses I see! Interesting idea for a shot, Ray!
Vicki05-Nov-2004 15:09
WOW, you carry a lot in your pockets. You need to send this to Linda for her to add to her "Contents of our handbags (and now pockets)" gallery.
Jacky Costi05-Nov-2004 15:04
I hope your pockets are strong enough and your belt is holding the pants in place <:-)
Si Kirk05-Nov-2004 15:01
wow that is a lot of baggage!
Robin Reid05-Nov-2004 14:56
What fun that you did this too. No way I could complete. Typically there is nothing in my pockets unless I'm driving with my billfold and keys.
Karthik Raja05-Nov-2004 14:46
Great this is fun. your wallet looks almost like mine.
Dennis Steinauer05-Nov-2004 14:38
You're loyal to nectar? I'm loyal to Bass Ale and string beans, but I don't have cards for it. :-) Prescription cards, huh? Why you old Republican, you. And why do you need a concession for the Eurotunnel? Didn't you guys build it to begin with? :)

Isn't it funny how seeing the contents of someone's pockets or handbag is so comelling?! :) Good shot, Ray.

I LOVE that the men are doing these too! Good on you, Ray!
