Like many towns, Marlow is twinned with another in continental Europe, apparently to promote and exchange cultures. But I've never come across a town also being 'bridged' as well. A bit of research reveals that the rather beautiful suspension bridge here in Marlow was built and designed
by one William Tierney Clark who also built an equally elegant, but larger structure across the Danube in Budapest.
