How many of you remember the old 45's ? They were a chunk out of my pocket-money I remember so sometimes, I would buy second hand ones down the bargain shop. Being old juke box ones, they needed to be fitted with an adapter in the middle and were housed in a delightfully cheap sleeve. This record got an airing not so long ago when Nicole Kidman and Robbie Williams sang their equally good version of this song.

Oh, yes. I remember 45's. I used to buy them at the BX or PX (depending if I was on an Air Force base or Army base.) Wnen I was five my father bought me a 45 player, and several 45s, one of which was You can Fly from the movie Peter Pan. That would have been around 1959.

Nice shot, Ray. Yes, I remember buying 45's, every Saturday in Woolworths, bought with the money I earned in the paper shop at the end of my road! Ah, those days... :))
