I thought I'd try some shots of those hostile waters that feature so much in northern climes at this time of year. This was taken from the harbour wall at Saltcoats, but this should not really have been my pic of the day. Two minutes after taking this I bumped into John, a friend of mine that I usually meet up with at the Royal International Air Tattoo, which is staged some 500 miles further south! I certainly did not expect to meet a soul on that harbour wall, let alone somebody I knew!
