I imagined this elderly man eating here at Paul’s Café often, perhaps because he now has nobody to cook for him. And being situated in the bus station, it is probably very handy for him.

But who knows the real story?

Maybe it's the best eggs and bacon in town?!! I like this...a very rich black and white, and such a sad feeling to it. At first it seems there's a contrast with the bountiful feast in the picture (the one on the right), but the sad, lonely feel of it is echoed in the painting. Excellent.
