I'm feeling like I need to apologize for this series,
with so many being uncomfortable with clowns.
Please know I'm not insensitive to your feelings, but
had planned to post 3 pictures each of a subject this month featuring red.
Started with the red hat. Now photographing the reds of the clown.
Hope this is not too difficult an emotional experience for those who
are uncomfortable with clowns. I did know a woman once who literally
got nauseated when she even saw a picture of a clown.
Hope that is not the case here. Photoghraphers have such a keen,
heightened maybe, sense of sight, I guess it could be difficult for some.
Please forgive me! It was and is not my intention to bring any discomfort
with these photographs.

I like clowns Carol, and specially the way you portrait them!
(from my work I know how clowns lighten up the daily routine of people who has dementia)

Clowns have never bothered me, I had never seen the horror movies that ruin their reputation. I just have visions from childhood of Red Skelton and so clowns bring smile. Nice capture here.

An ideal angle for this puppet Carol, ditto to that already said, he looks like he's waiting his turn.

I don't really like clowns, but have no trouble with your clown at all. Your composition here is very good Carol - you do have a special gift in composition

Carol, I'm not fond of clowns, but I am fond of your photos and fond of YOU. Please don't stop posting on my account.
Actually, I love the light in this picture. Yes, it is creepy and I imagine him waiting quietly for the right time to pull the knife... but your photo is excellent and deserves praise!! I'm smiling. I hope you are too.

I don't have a problem with clowns or creepy images. I have found your images well photographed and interesting. The lighting and pose in this one has an air of mystery and anticipation about it.

This reminds me of Bozo! :)
Believe it or not, I was on the Bozo show when I was about 4 years old ~ he tweeked my nose! I've loved clowns ever since then! :)
