Geri the woman in this gallery, had a stroke several years ago & her upper body was very week on one side. She stayed in her home & was very independent until she passed away in Feb. 2009. It was quite a shock. I fondly remember her and her love for animals. She really loved having these little critters come visit. RIP Geri. Mr. Soul crossed the Rainbow Bridge in June 2009, Zuma Christmas night 2009 and Arrow Jan. 8 2010. RIP little ones.
It was always rewarding & a good service that pet therapy animals provide to people.

My husband is always telling me about the rats he used to work with ... the same as these. I see why they are so special. Great pictures and great visiting therapists!

Flo! This is amazing! I've heard of dogs and cats being taken to nursing homes to cheer up the residents -- but RATS??? ;-) Great images. Voted...
