Venice 2005

We made this trip to Venice for our 10th wedding anniversary. Venice is a wonderful place, something to photograph after every corner. Extremely crowded in some places, but surprisingly peaceful and quiet if you walk a bit further away from the touristic areas.

lovely this is the venice i remember..holding hands across the rialto.. the smell of the fresh fish market... gelato in the piazza... ah 0.50 euro to use the bathroom..

Hi Chrisse, You have some wonderful photos here. We visited Venice for the first time ever in October 2005, and we absolutely loved it. It was my favorite place in all of Italy. Looking at your photos brings back many memories. We spent 3 weeks on that vacation, and it is one we'll long remember. It took me several weeks to sort out over 3,000 photos, and only about 300 of those made it to my pbase gallery. Best regards ~ Tim

Mooie fotos! Nous étions en effet à Venise à quelques semaines d'écart et je retrouve la même ambiance. Plusieurs de nos photos se ressemblent très fort en effet. Got my vote!
