Near the end of May 2010, we completed a fabulous month's photo tour of several national and state parks in the southwestern US. Our tour, which we made in our RV with our dog, Sunny, covered Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks in Utah, Dead Horse Point State Park in Utah, Grand Canyon NP in Arizona, Mesa Verde NP in Colorado, Monument Valley in Arizona, and Davis Mountains State Park in Texas. Unlike many of our earlier trips that focused on wildlife photography, on this trip we were seeking beautiful landscapes to photograph. Many of the locations are iconic national park vistas that have been photographed many times, but this did not diminish our enjoyment of them, for this was our first visit. From an initial collection of over two thousand images, these are our favorites. We hope you will be inspired to visit at least some of these wonders of nature!
Your trip for a month to seveal different parks is something that my wife and I wish to be able to make one of these days. And after looking at some of your images we can not wait. V
