Close To The Bone

I asked this young woman if she'd hold a knife for my shot (she was product-demonstrating)
and lo and behold she struck this pose without prompting.
Unlucky for her, the boss was right next to her in the booth.
He gave her a very stern warning about company policy against her actions
and I quickly intervened to sooth tempers between he and her.
I felt bad for her but I was only doing my job photographing strangers!

I think she was ready for another line of work anyway.

LOL @ your story! From the thumb, I was afraid it was Heather Mills! (Paul Mc ex!)

It definitely looks like her true line of work may be something other than product demonstration. :-)

:o(
The next evening a knife disappeared.
We found it planted between the two scapulas of the boss.
:oP

She should not stay with an idiot boss.
Guest 15-Jul-2005 21:50
You should have shot the boss (before she does)!
Guest 15-Jul-2005 17:26
Dan, good story, pretty girl, you got a 'platinum' shot (sounds impressive anyway) and it all got worked out in the end. Isn't it great when people help out so willingly. :^)

jude07-Jul-2005 10:22

I like that she was so animated and willing to be herself

Great shot Dan and what a Hero you are !! She can change jobs if she likes but she had better put that knife down before her next interview.

She can be a star at terror films.
J. Scott Coile06-Jul-2005 17:29

Jacquelyn needs to be discovered. She should be in Hollywood. Or at least on a reality TV show. Send her photo to Fox, she could be the next contestant on "My Big, Fat, Oobnoxious, Average Joe Millionaire Nanny".
Guest 06-Jul-2005 13:35
You set her free here. Do you know how long she's been wanting to do that...at the boss?
Di06-Jul-2005 11:58
I think everyone secretly wants to be photographed. This is a great capture...too bad about her uptight boss.
Chris Sofopoulos06-Jul-2005 11:20
What an expression!!
Guest 06-Jul-2005 11:07
great story to go along with the pic. people can be so accommodating. :)
Guest 06-Jul-2005 08:18
Very funny story Dan! Brilliant.
Is it me or does she look like Britney Shears or does she only sell knives... :)
Steven Jusczyk06-Jul-2005 06:03
I'd be careful on the second date.
Donna Lear06-Jul-2005 04:54
This is fantastic - all I could get from my stranger shot was goofy look and a stuck out tongue. I love this.
Guest 06-Jul-2005 02:54
Great shot of a spontaneous pose.
Karen Leaf06-Jul-2005 02:48
Wonder if he'd let up if he knew she's famous now :>
Looks like she's done this a couple times, before.
David Winge06-Jul-2005 02:36
Excellent, "The Ultimate Chef" banner really adds to this, great job!
Gary Hebert06-Jul-2005 02:26
this is too much....
Guest 06-Jul-2005 02:25
Her boss definitely needs to lighten up. This is great! Ya know, if she was the killer in "Psycho", I don't think too many people would have been afraid to get back into the shower. ;-)
Ray :)06-Jul-2005 01:54
Hey, perhaps you have an opening for her?
noearlybird06-Jul-2005 01:49
You are way too funny. Great shot AND story.
Coleen Perilloux Landry06-Jul-2005 01:47
Oh, oh.
Guest 06-Jul-2005 01:44
Too bad the boss doesn't have a sense of humor - great pose! I've seen it in many movies ;^)
