A sculpture in the American Indian Museum, Washington, DC.

I took a brief tour through it today. Lots of small exhibits, with tons of text. Sorry I failed to get a photo of the artist on this one. He has many sculptures in the museum. An alternate is HERE

Nikon D70 ,Nikkor 85mm f/1.8D AF
1/80s f/2.8 at 85.0mm iso800 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

nice shot. btw, it's one of the few museums in our city that doesn't mind visitors taking flash photography, which comes in handy.

I love the sculpture - the smoothness of the face in contrast to the texture of his clothing. I like the profile photo, makes me want to see more!

Both shots are excellent, the crop shows nice and dramatic light scene here. I prefer the colour version, it gives a better view of the entire sculpture.

I like the sculptor's subtle use of dimension to bring the eyes alive and you captured it really well.

Wow, that's pretty cool!! Amazing how you got this with a room full of people, as seen in the other one!
