Imagine my surprise this morning, I'd dropped off my wife at the airport and
was heading home and the sunset building before me was looking to be specatcular.
So instead of just going home I took a side detour over to the river and ran out
onto one of the local empty docks to set up. I'd just by chance put both my camera
and tripod into the car hopeing sunrise might be nice. As I was setting up my first shot
I noticed what appeared to be an aircraft about to make a contrail that I wasn't happy
about, but the speed and brightness of the contrail led me to think it was something else
so several shots later and a local Goggle search I found out that I had a great sequence
of the first orbital rocket launch from Wallops Island VA in the last 11 years.
