I had to photograph this house foundation for work. The walls were prefabricated and installed by crane so there is very little soil disturbance and the installed grey walls were very crisp against our red clay soil. Ahhh red clay--when dry it is hard as a rock when wet it sucks your shoes off and stains everything. At this time and place, against the crisp grey walls this red clay was just beautiful to my eye.
