Electrified spring

These new spring flowers are shot at night outdoors or inside in a fully darkened room. The lighting provided by little flashlights. I paint the flowers with light by waving the flashlights around behind and to the sides of the flowers.

Beautiful work. I have heard of this idea with laser pointers in a darkened room. I will have to try it out. I used to take slide picture in caves "painting" the cavern walls with my flash gun and camera on B setting. Voted

What a wonderful collection of "light drawings"! I keep thinking of Man Ray and Laszlo Moholy-Nagy's photograms and strobe imagery, cliche verre and all the other alternative gifts that photographic history has handed us...these are wonderful - each one a entity unto itself! V.
