Papilio polyxenes parasitized. If you look closely, you will see tiny white spots that are the eggs of the Tachinid Fly. These are "glued" to the caterpillar by the female fly, so are nearly impossible to remove. I tried unsuccessfully. This caterpillar will need to be quarantined and raised separately. Most likely this will be fatal. Caterpillar did not pupate successfully.
