I have never understood how you can lose one shoe.
Don't you notice when you start hobbling?

Well seen and captured, Bill. It tells a story of a sad discovery to be made when someone reaches home. It may have been a parent carrying an assortment of beach equipment, clothing, food and drinks and perhaps for several children.
