Amed is a remote area on Bali's eastern coast, dotted with fishing villages and tiny bays, some sandy, some rocky. Famous for diving and snorkeling, it also offers trekking, beautiful beaches and intense sunrises. This is not the "party" Bali, but the Bali for those who want peace and quiet, perfect for families and older travelers.
