In most places in this area hoodoos are elevated onto flat places high up on badlands cliffs and generally difficult to get to. This place is different because it is a long valley with towering cliffs rather than a classic badlands formation and most of the hoodoos are on the valley floor.
Hoodoos come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Take note of last one in this series that has a quarter in the frame to provide a scale to gauge the size of a small hoodoo. The largest hoodoo in this gallery is probably as tall as a twenty story building.
