Citadel Detail

Los Angeles, CA

With Hollywood's influence, Los Angeles is a city of facades. The Citadel is mixed-use development on the site of a hugh former tire company. The facade of the factory has been retained and is not something you expect to see as you drive along Interstate 5 in East Los Angeles.

nice shot. the first time that I saw this building was 1956. wow. a long time ago. Am glad that it is being used and not as a tire factory.

A fine capture, Astrid - I bet that turns a few heads! Love the deep contrast between the stonework and the blue sky...very nice!

Great shot of the Citadel, not your ordinary shopping mall. You captured the details very well and a great contrast with the blue sky. Can't miss this when you're going up the Santa Ana Freeway.

The building looks very pompous. I like your capture of the detail.

It looks great. Maybe a bit over the top. But nevertheless very nice.
Well done.
