Great one!
Guest 18-May-2005 06:51
Fantastic as usual. This man's tired eyes are completely incongruous to the clown nose and clothing. It's as if he was attacked by a gang of roving clowns. Ten minutes ago he was a businessman with a briefcase...

Excellent portrait ¡Ivoted :-)

"The Tears of a Clown". Was his nose attachment red from 'Red Nose Day' here in the UK?

When you see a clown at first, you want to smile. But then you see this man's eyes and realize there is more going on there. Voted.

Excellent details. I guess the sticker on the instrument gives one possible cause for sadness.
Di16-May-2005 21:15
By the looks of his instrument, he's been playing for many years. Great shot!

He looks to be quite an old clown as well from his hands and face.

i agree, incredible irony. the expression in his eyes are sad.. something you don't normally expect from a clown, such that when you see it, it is especially striking.
