The Jet Cadet: A Jet Powered Garden Tractor

We came across this Jet Powered Garden Tractor at a Car Show yesterday afternoon.
When switched on it sounded like a combination Rocket taking off and Blast Furnace.
The owner was very friendly, and when we asked him why he put a Jet Engine on a Tractor, he replied:
“Midlife Crisis”

Garrett Airseearch Model #GTP 30-67 jet turbine engine
Turbine Speed 52,000 RPM
Exhaust Temperature 1325° F / 718° C
Runs on JP-4 Jet Fuel
