B-24 Memorial

This Memorial is dedicated to the men who flew in the B-24 Liberator Bomber in the Second World War.

The model of the aircraft is pointed toward where the Convair Plant used to stand in honor of the men and woman who built this aircraft here in San Diego.

The image above was also taken for the Weekly Informal Challenge (Week 7): "Memorial/Memories"

A stallworth in it's day. Quite a fortress but I would not have wanted to man one of those gun turrets. Great processing/toning.
