As we walked under a sun-dappled sky this past Sunday into our first baseball game between the Washington Nationals and the Seattle Mariners, the odd coincidence struck me...

...the previous day, we had been rafting on the upper Delaware River, close to the NY State border, at the invitation of my friend Chris Pallister from the Prince William Soundkeepers organization, and then spent the evening listening to a rousing speech by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, co-founder of the WaterKeepers Alliance - http://www.waterkeeper.org - and here we were the next morning back in DC attending a baseball game in the stadium named in memory of his father... I imagine the cosmos is trying to tell us something...
