It's rare indeed for me to do two consecutive PADs on the same subject, and I had taken some shots elsewhere earlier this morning that I was originally going to use. However the juxtaposition with the previous image in this gallery (9245) was too much to resist.
In the comments on that image Mairead wondered how all of the boats shown there got in and out. Well, here's the solution; the entrance to the marina is at the far end so you shove the ones down this end in first, then pack in the ones further along until it's completely full. When it's time to go home you reverse the process unless you're steering an icebreaker or an Iowa class battleship, in which case you just cruise over the top of anything that's in front of you and get out that way.
And so the sun sets on the show for another year. The fun returns on Thursday 28 July 2011. And who knows, somewhere in the PADs for that and the following five days, we may well have another shot from around this location.
