Perhaps a little grimmer than usual, but at least a bit different for me. This shot would probably be more suited to winter rather than autumn, but autumn it is and after several hot days we've had a cool southerly change. Actually autumn, once it gets going, isn't at all grey or cold or bleak but temperate and often sunny.
Even so, I was prepared to accept this view as a hopeful sign that the heat and humidity of another summer has finally passed.

Edit August 2023; oh, wait, it has just turned September 2023: I have no idea where this was taken, unfortunately, as I wasn't tagging my photos at the time I upload them the way I do now. (Which is another reason that I'm going through 13 year old photos, which as my date correction notes are aging further still.) I just have this marked as "Sydney" which PROBABLY (given the time it was taken) means that it was taken in my then-home suburb of Belmore since I had, and still have, a policy of not mentioning where I live by name... but of course that was a long time ago now so it doesn't matter as much. If so it was probably taken in Terry Lamb Park which runs alongside the rail line.
