2014 Coast Guard Day Picnic at Air Station Miami Gallery - click on image to view


The annual Coast Guard Day picnic was held on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Coast Guard Air Station Miami, located at Opa-locka Executive Airport. It was a hot humid day but I was able to reunite with several active duty and reserve friends who I served with in the 1980's and 90's. I was in the Air Station's Reserve Unit for 16 years from 1978 to 1994 when the unit was decommissioned.
