The memorial plaque on the left is dedicated to LT Robert G. Ausness USCG, LT Robert C. Shearer Jr. USCG, AM1 Robert E. McClain USCG, and AD3 Jeffrey B. Case USCG, who perished onboard CG HH-52A #1376 on 17 January 1979 in a mid-air collision while training on the south side of Opa-locka Airport.
The memorial plaque on the right is dedicated to Mr. Casey A. Purvis and Mr. Robert S. Fuller, Coast Guard Auxiliarists, who perished on a mission onboard N99WD on 1 February 2001.
