This gallery is dedicated to Olivier Cleynen (also known under his Bachian alias aria da capo)
the brilliant young man behind the Free Software Foundation GNU/Linux Matters who once told me:

Interesting thesis/slant. I enjoyed thinking about it. I am no philosopher but what you are saying is true, if I interpret it correctly. In the sense that perception is to do with psychology and photography, and that photography is an expression of the photographers perception and experiences, and that photographers, perhaps, are more sensitive and receptive to the world about them than other laymen, and that photography is therefore about seeing things where others do not, then perhaps, as photographers, we could be described as ghost seeing or recording those perceptions and aspects of our environment which others either deem to ignore, or cannot see. The term ghost-seeing therefore perhaps helps us understand, justify, continue, develop and interpret our artistic expression/unconscious as photographers.
