A day at Crow Point and Braunton

Very much a "spur of the moment" trip. I just got in the car and drove.
Crow Point is quite a sombre place even when the sun is shining, it has a very special atmosphere about it.
Though the sun was out there were not many people around and apart from the gulls and a helicopter from RAF Chivenor it was very quiet.
After sheltering from a sudden downpour I decided to go to Braunton - at least I would dry out a bit in the car!!
Not many photographs taken because I confess I was lured into a Jewellers shop........nuff said!!!

Another day - different weather - rain/wind/more rain but the magic is still there. And yes I went into the jewellers again!!!

January 2011 It's been too long since I was here, I miss the atmosphere. No Braunton or Jewellers today.

Oh, spur of the moment trips are my cup of tea, but be wary of jewellers visits in case you are forced to sell your camera gear!
