A friend of mine borrowed someones digital camera
to take photos for their Church Directory and was
really dissapointed with his results.
He asked me if I could help him fix the photos.
I told him that when it comes to pictures
"I can fix anything except a broken heart", he said
"please do".
A little cropping, Levels, Curves, Shadows/Highlites, Hue/Saturation and USM adjustments
and this is the results.

Your friend should have hired you to take the photos in the first place. When I first saw the light switch I thought, "Nice." :) Significant improvement (over the original) in your post-processing.
