Adaptation

You try to adapt to a normal life, but it doesn't always work. On the left is Mikki Persson, Swedish photographer. Interpreter Erica Zlomislich from Toronto and Siroki Brijeg is in the middle, not quite 100% happy, and that's me, James Mason, on the right. The foto was shot by Jon Jones, from Leeds but born in Uganda. We were unwinding in Trogir after spending most of the summer of '93 in central Bosnia. On the drive back into Split somebody noticed that Mikki was missing from the Nissan...but he soon appeared sliding down the windshield. He had crawled out the back window at 75 kph and made his way forward on the roof.

Erica - Girl in photo is me. James I am not 100 % happy because I absolutely loathed the fellow taking it, Jon Jones. Remember? Long time ago, 14 years now. Wow. It's time for a reunion in Trogir or Vitez.

Again: nice one. Love the way she looks into the camera and how the person on the left acts.

Best regards,
