Greg LeMond won the national road championship for juniors in Seattle. It was his first major victory in what was to become a brilliant career as a cyclist. I was surprised to find this photo when I looked at the negatives. When I originally edited the film back in 1977, I ignored this image. But back then LeMond wasn't famous!
