The Marina, where I lived, is a great neighborhood. It is maligned as yuppified, but who cares. At least the Palace of Fine Arts isn't covered with what Tom Waits called "jailhouse tattoos".....graffitti. The lake is fed by a natural spring from one of the huge aquifers that lie under San Francisco.
