Lavonne operated her elder hostel on the beach south of Kotzebue. People from around the world came to stay for a week and learn about the Arctic and about Inupiaq culture. I accidently uploaded this full-sized TIFF file instead of the small jpeg I normally use for this gallery. It's sort of fun to move the image around and admire the quality of reproduction. This was shot with a Canon D10 with a 15mm fisheye. Pretty sharp lens.
